First Mobile Pantry Delivery day:

June 14th and 15th

Our goal to start with is 25 care boxes full of food and items that we can personally hand to people

that can’t get out. 

 

Here is what we need to do that:

 

Staring off with hygiene items:

• Safety razors, feminine items, body wipes, (bonus if they are biodegradable) shampoo and conditioner bars, soap bars, wash-clothes, combs/brushes

• Cloth packets to hold items​

• We don’t want people to have to lug around empty plastic bottle and bags so anything that can be washed and reused (i.e. cloth and tarp) or biodegradable, (cardboard, paper, etc) is greatly greatly appreciated  

 

Food Items:

• Non perishable foods - freeze dried, dried, canned, emergency/military rations, etc

• Can openers - if cans are donated please bring a few can openers

 

The bakery will be supplying enough fresh bread for all 25 care boxes

- Fresh food -

I would love to give out fresh fruits and vegetables in these boxes so people can have a complete fresh meal when they receive a box. (Oil and butter are also good items)

Please, no milk, fresh meat or large bulky fresh things.

We don’t want anything to spoil over the 2 days. (and we only have 1 fridge)

Fresh fruit and vegetables are much easier to handle.

I think most hard cheeses should be fine too.

 

Most Importantly,

WE NEED LOCATIONS

Tell people where we can meet them

and tell us where people have needed help before.

We can go to homes and public gathering places - anywhere people need help.
